Studying the Book of Galatians (Part 1)

An exhaustive textual study on the book of Galatians. It’s proper theology. This teaching examines how God speaks through his prophets, and how Paul got his authority to write to the church in Galatians. It is a little expansive on bibliology, explaining how the Bible ought to be studied and highlighting what will make for proper interpretation of the scriptures, with particular focus on language, geography, animals, and people as important elements in biblical hermeneutics.

Much more, it critically explores the themes in the book of Galatians such as Paul’s emphasis on our liberty in Christ and the grace of God (put in proper light) as opposed to the doctrine of legalism with which the Galatian church had been deceived. It is therefore an apologia, a defense of the gospel of grace and against false teachers as explained in Paul’s letter to the Galatian church and from the Old Testament with which Paul must have initially taught the church.

More so, this teaching addresses how false Gospel and false teachers can be identified and handled. It drives home the implications of a false Gospel that preaches Christ plus something else or resorting to works as a basis for salvation, emphasizing that the Christian must boldly stand for the truth of God’s word irrespective of all. It explains what Paul’s separation from his mother’s womb would mean, what our liberty in Christ is for, and much more.

This teaching will greatly bless you.
